We have been enjoying the last few weeks of summer, and spending our weekends on the beach. I finally was able to give this quilt as a gift, because the baby, Hope Anne Frost was born! I made this quilt last winter, as the mom was sure she was having a girl. Thank God she was right, as I am sewing very slowly at this point in time.
I was able to quilt one block of my "beachwalk" quilt. Each time I am having a good shoulder day, i will do one block. Eventually...I will be able to show you that it is done!
Ladies of the Evening have been to some quilt shows lately, and stocking up on things to make. Soon, when fall rolls around, I should have some things to show you! Mickey and her sister Lisa are going to a "Handi quilter" demo and instruction this upcoming weekend, and then the following day, they are going to try their hand at it again. I hope they will send some pics of what they are doing, hint hint. Stay tuned................................
Barb - I have this pattern, too, and will make it someday for my little Abby. Yours came out so cute:)
We WILL send pictures of our quilted pieces when they are done. I'm hoping to quilt a swap block quilt, a table runner, and a wall hanging on Sunday. I'm not sure what Mickey is going to bring.
Look forward to seeing your beachwalk quilt some time soon!
Lisa:)

I am so jealous that you have your Beach Walk done as a top. Mine is still in the bag I brought it home in. If I can ever get done with the BOMs I joined this year I am going to do it, maybe starting in December when things usually slow down. I am really looking forward to seeing your quilt. Did you already show the top on your blog? I have been soooooo far behind lately.

Lucky baby girl who got this quilt, Barb! I absolutely LOVE IT! Did you get it as a kit or did you buy all those adorable fabrics? Inquiring minds need to know. :-) Is that the same quilt Marge was making a few years ago? One of the cutest lil girl quilts I've ever seen. She will love it for years, I'm sure. BE SAFE as Irene passes through this weekend! YIKES!
