My quilting buddy, Mickey, gave me this beautiful tonga treats charm pack for Christmas. One day I had some free time
, i whipped up this table runner to showcase the pretty fabrics . I just love batiks, and having the pre-cut into 5" squares, makes for a quick and easy project. Table runners are also a great small project to practice your machine quilting. I am still plugging away on the hawaiian wedding ring quilt.... Boring still, lol!
It seems lots of us are in a sewing slump.i wonder if it because we have had such a mild winter. It's been so nice out, we have early spring fever!
Going to see "The ladies of the evening" tonight, it's always good to see them, maybe see some show and tell, and get some inspiration!
What are you doing to get yourself out of the slump,or are you sewing up a storm?

OOOO, I recognized these beauteous batiks before I even read the comment that they were from me. :-) Nice job, Barb...very pretty runner. I love your machine quilted circles too. They look wonderful! Circles are one of MY favorite quilting patterns. I'm going to start cutting and sewing again this week, after a few weeks of not doing any for various reasons, but I'm getting my inspiration from YOU and your blog and, I think, from the longer days and extended light at the end of the day. It's giving me a mental boost. YAY!
