Mickey sent me this picture of her finished birth announcement for her new "grand niece", Abby. I have been working on this announcement myself for a baby boy. It is so nice to see it finished and framed. I haven't decided whther mine will be framed, or quilted as a wall hanging. Great job Mickey, I love it!
Thanks, Barb .... I really enjoyed making it too. It worked up faster than most stitchery projects I undertake, so it was almost like instant gratification. LOL I almost made it into a little quilted wallhanging but decided to go the extra mile and have it framed to preserve it better and I'm glad I did. They did a great job (Frame Shack in Wakefield, MA) and I love the end result. Of course, it went to a very special baby - MY godchild's FIRST, and we are very close. So ..... Muwah, Abby!
