Living vicariously through Mickey, and her sister Lisa. they went to a workshop this weekend at the "Bits and Pieces* quilt shop in Pelham New Hampshire. Lisa is interested in getting a handi quilter someday. They learned all about needles, threads, bobbins, and tension. Then everyone was allowed to bring in a finished top, and get advice and ideas about how to best quilt it. This is Lisa's card trick quilt. She won the blocks at her guild. She added the borders. That is beautiful! I love the brights.
This quilt above is made by Debby Brown, Mickey said she wishes we could see the machine quilting, it was beautiful. I cant wait for Lisa to get her long awaited long arm, even if it is a couple of years down the road!
