I found it!............

 Here is actually, a better picture of the potato chip scarf. I found the free CROCHET directions on the "Lion Brand Yarn" site.
Lots of pretty yarns here to use, and great prices too. As you can see in this picture, they made the scarves long. You really can make them as long or short as you wish. Good luck crocheters!
